QUEER AND VERY, VERY WILD
I namely, though not exclusively, use printmaking, drawing, and natural dyeing as means of exploring my connection to time, place, and identity. I like to invoke my ties to queer and punk subcultures, animals, grief, and nostalgia.
I draw inspiration from a number of sources- medieval woodcuts, anarchist and leftist ethos, ephemera, and folklore. I hope to create things that are specific yet relatable; I like art that is process-based and tells its own story.
Currently based in Lansing, Michigan.
But also a homage to cold basements, punk house porches, the fields and forests of the north, railroad tracks, highways, and the liminal spaces we continuously occupy.
